Thanks Gnomey! You are so right. I’m not sure she has it by the teeth yet. She’s not been eating for a while. She is in a situation now that allows for some supervision of her food intake. I appreciate your kind thoughts.

I appreciate your verbalized support here, and the kind thoughts you are sending our way. Being with my sister (and her family) before really helped. We’re hoping that it will this time as well. She said that being around the grand kids, helped to energize her.

Here’s hoping!

I just wish I could make the 5 hour drive to my sisters to check in on her.

Zwingli, I’m sorry to hear your Mom is struggling with this (and you, and your family). Depression is such a beast. I really hope that being with your sister and having other support will help her. I’ll be thinking of you all.
