Ouch. I mourn for you.
Thank you, JD!
Had a techy friend look at it. In his opinion (which I agree with), it seems that my hard drive is failing.
I can log on for about 15 minutes or so at a time. Then, the blue screen of death hits. I was on for a little bit last night, then it rebooted 5 times on me. I gave up and went to bed around 10:30pm (unheard of!).
That being said, I was able to be on this morning for a good 30 minutes and dinged 90!!!! Which almost sent me to the blue screen. However, when I opened some kind of chest-o-treasure…picking up some sort of achievement…that was to much for the computer.
So, I’m looking for an old and cheap hard drive for the moment. my computer is 8 years old, so there aren’t many options still being produced. I think I find one for under $100, but I’ll have to travel the next town over.

Yeah, hard drives are pretty cheap now. In the meantime, you could download a version of Ubuntu and burn to disc and run off of that.
