I only tried Siege of Wyrmrest Temple on LFR once.  I lagged out on the first boss.  Since then, I learned that turning off my sound through the “Options” menu cuts down on the lag significantly.

I’ve done Fall of Deathwing on LFR a couple of different times.  But, this was my first time on Regular.  It is definitely different than LFR.  Doing LFR does not equip someone for the Regular versions.  I can only imagine that Heroic is that much harder.

Fall of Deathwing!

Finally saw it for myself!

I finally got Dreah up to the required iLevel of 272 (without PvP Gear!!!).

I gemmed and enchanted as best as I knew how. I was still sporting an iLevel 333-346 helm, if I remember correctly. But, everything else was where it needed to be.  So, off I went to LFR land.

To be honest, in the asshat area; it wasn’t that bad. We didn’t have anyone try to wipe the raid. We did that on our own without anyone trying to help us. I think we wiped 2-3 times before it was all over. Mostly, it was due to a lot of new people running the raid for the first time.

People often dropped group without offering a “why.”  But, we made it through with less pain than I expected!

There was one nice hunter who traded a Trinket drop for the Helm drop. The great thing was, a second trinket dropped, he won it, and gave it  to me!

I came out with TWO PURPLEZZZZZ!!!!

The negative part of the experience had to do with my computer. I lagged really bad. I’ve almost gotten Zwingli (of Sentinels) to the required iLevel of 272. Once he gets the achievement, I’ll probably not run it again.  I’ll go back to focusing on alts and pvp.

For some reason, I really wanted to see LFR at least once before MoP came out.

Now I can say that I’ve done it!

Split Persona and Raiding

I may have a lot of alts, but I have two characters close to my heart.

Let me introduce Zwingli (known on some servers as Dreah) and Zwingli.

This is Zwingli (aka. Dreah)

Zwingli *cough* I mean, Dreah is my very first character. I rolled him up on the Blackwater Raiders server back in December of 2006. This was supposed to be a throw away character. Needless to say, he became much more to me than that.

This is Zwingli (#2)

I rolled this character on Moon Guard to check out the RP scene. This was long before Wyrmrest Accord showed up, and as RP went was pretty much the only game/server in town. I eventually got this guy to Sentinel’s, and became a part of <Phoenix Rising>. They took me in, taught me to raid, and I had a great time. But, with raiding came the burnout; and the main reason I’ve not raided this expansion.

Even though I’ve played some expansion, I’ve not really focused on any one character. I’ve played a lot of alts, did a few random achievements, but mostly just hung out mouthing off to people. Eff the Ineffable took Dreah in from the cold, and I’ve had a chance to bring him up to speed.

Well, now I’m getting the itch to raid again. I’m not on at times convenient for raiding with the Effers or PhR; so that leaves LFR.

Do you have any suggestions for my gearing up to be able to enter LFR?

Rumble!

I found a new dragon all alone in the woods of Tol Barad. He was hurt, with a booboo on his wing.

I took him home, fixed him up, and now I can’t get rid of him!

He’s a nice dragon. He just has a bit of an attitude problem now and again.

We’re working on that!

Scardi-Tank

There is a lot going on right now in real life, and my WoWing has taken somewhat of a back seat for the time being. However, that doesn’t mean I wasn’t playing; I just wasn’t playing very much. Instead of playing my main(s), I was dinking around a little bit on alts.

There was one particular that I enjoyed. A low level hunter that I was working Arathi Basin with. That however, is another story.

After some time of reflection, I realized that I really wanted to tank. But…there always seems to be one, doesn’t there?… I never found myself logging onto my main tanking toon, Caligan. I just never would really do it; especially not to tank something.

Well, long story short (I promise to get back to that, I really do), I came upon the reason(s) I think I wasn’t taking and I asked for some help from my guildies (and a couple of other people I respect) for advice. I endeavored to start tanking one Cata-instance per day; and it was beginning to go along nicely…

Until…

I unintentionally deleted my toon, Caligan!

I meant to delete a lvl  toon, right underneath him in the start screen.  But instead, I accidentally deleted him.

I was in utter shock. I didn’t rage. I didn’t weep. I promptly made a GM Ticket, saying what happened and begging for my toon to be restored.

Then, I told the one and only guildie on that night what happened; closed down WoW and went to bed, more than just a little depressed.

Well, I’ve not had time to get on today to see if he is back. I still have some work to do before the night is over. But, I plan on seeing if he is back later on this evening.

I’m also wondering if my scardi-tank side had me delete him from deep in my subconscious.

I might think more about that later.

Anyway, that is what’s been going on with me.

Worgen Wolf Form

World, meet Eli.

Eli, meet world.

Eli is my Worgen Druid on Sentinel’s Server.  He’s been a blast to level, really a lot of fun.

Am I the only one that thinks Worgens (of all types) should get a wolf form?!

Seriously!

Even if it was only for Druid, I would gladly give up the Swift or Cat form for a Wolf Form (dps).

What do you think?  Should Worgens have a wolf form?
