I can’t begin to tell you how blessed I am.

I know that it may sound arrogant. I can sound like I’m bragging.  Perhaps I am.

I’m blessed by the people I know. The groups that allow me to wear the guild tags.

From <Phoenix Rising>, to the <Frostwolves>, to the <Claws of Nature>.  I am blessed by the people in my life.

Thank you for being there.

Friends that Give from their Creativity

I’ve already mentioned this once, but it bears mentioning again. You see, friends are what make this game great.  Friends that write you poems of appreciation.

Gifts that cost something

Friends that give you Battle Pets, to show their care and appreciation.

These were gifts from a wonderful friend in game.  Thank you so very much!

Finally, there has been some RNG love as well.  I can’t explain it. I know that people have been suffering. They’ve been camping these sort of pets for weeks, if not months. I’m not sure exactly how I wound up with 3 within 7 days.WoWScrnShot_020713_233104

In the end, this is my thought.

Be thankful.

Be thankful for the people that welcome you when you log in. Be thankful for those you raid with, talk on vent with, pursue those in-game goals with.

So tell me, who do you appreciate?

It seems that some people didn’t like Z’s outfit.

I don’t understand why, though. I mean, it “sorta” matches. Right?!

Someone said I need some Mog help... O.O

Someone said I need some Mog help… O.O

A commenter made a mention of my hat.  Here it is, in all it’s premog glory!

But alas, I’ve given into peer pressure.

I went and made a cheap and easy mog.  I made the Contender Dragonscale Set, and used it to mog my pve gear.

I mogged the Cloak using the Vicious Fur Cloak.

At least, that is what it is for now. :)

What can I say, I really like this part of the game.

Just Tillin' The Fields!

Just Tillin’ The Fields!

I can’t say “why” I like it so much, I just do. I find myself wishing I could get more plots to farm.  Maybe set up a little farm in Darnassus.  You know, some place to retire to.

Of course, I’m still loving the Pet Battles!

Got him!

Got him!

So, this is where my WoW life has gotten me.  I’m farming digital plants, and running after digital pets.

I can live with that! ;)

I don’t think I’m going to make my 50,000 words during this month of November.

It seems, that though there is a part of me that thinks writing 50,000 words is a worthy goal, a significant part of me longs for something else.

You see, there are many reasons that people roll a Hunter.  It could be said that many (not all) people will end up rolling a hunter sooner or later, believing that it is a simple class to play.

No argument there.  I’ve often found the Hunter class easy to play, but hard to master.

But, there are some of us that are Hunters because the class bets fits who we are.

Do we play other classes?

But, we always come back to the Hunter as our main.

That is me.

I’m a Hunter because that is where my heart is.

I’m a Beast Mastery Hunter because I dearly love the Combat Pets.

Look who I found wandering around the Vale!

I must give much link love to WoW Rare Spawns!

Euphyley makes it all possible!

Oh, and I’m still obsessing over Battle Pets.

Totally loving the new patch!

P.s. Why yes, I did get a hair cut!  Thanks for noticing.  ;)

This has been fun!

My intention was two fold:

First, I wanted some pets high enough in level so that I could participate in Pet Battles while leveling in MoP.

Secondly, I got the itch to actually do the Pet Battle quest line.  At the end of the quest line, I ended up with these (and more) pet achievements!

I plan on going back later and filling in the missing achievements. Thus far, this has been very enjoyable!

I’m currently in the process of taming every new critter I come across as I level through MoPs.  You can click here to see what I’ve been up to lately.

Even though my computer has been wonky, I’ve still been able to get some questing done.

So far so good!

Now, if only my computer would stop trying to die on me.

I’m taking my time and enjoying the game.

I hope that you are enjoying everything that you desire in your World of WoW!

I had a very small bucket list to finish before MoPs.

That isn’t because I had everything I ever wanted. It’s because I didn’t put a whole lot of pre-thought into the upcoming expansion. :)

One thing I wanted to do was finish off my “almost done” achievements. That meant I had to figure out which toon to do it on.

It turns out that Zwingli had the most achievement points, and the greatest number of “almost” done.

However, there was one thing that I wanted, which Caligan had the closest chance on.

I wanted two things, really bad, before MoPs hit.

One was the Traverer’s Tundra Mammoth

And the second was Pebble, of the Rock Lover Achievement.

I got Rock Lover a few days ago!  :)

My boy Caligan came through for me!

But, today Zwingli finally attained enough gold for the Mammoth!  Granted, it seems that my achievement screen shot addon failed, but I still got the mount. :)

So now, all of my toons can ride in style!

Actually, that isn’t it at all.  :)

I can vendor all of my gray items as I level in MoPs.  But more importantly, if I ever have another visitor from another server; I can take her/him around and show her/him my favorite spots!

I’m just waiting at the moment. It is around 9pm as I write this post, in Monday night. Tomorrow, at some time when I’m still asleep, the MoP Pre-Patch will go live.

I hope that I’m saying that right.

To be honest, I don’t know quite what to do.

Will I still mainly play a Hunter?

Will I spend all of my time on a Paladin?

Will my new main become a Monk?

Will I choose some other class? I mean, I could go nuts and roll a Mage!

I just don’t know.

I think there is one thing I would like to do. I want to enter into some RP.

Any suggestions?

The God Mother of Alt:ernative blog fame brought up something that I’ve been doing my best to ignore.

The loss of the Hunter’s melee weapon(s) with the next patch.

When I started huntering in 2006, I was over joyed that we were able to dual-wield.  Since I’m somewhat of an RP snob, I didn’t want to carry anything but dual daggers.  I was quickly laughed at, and I learned that there were other things to consider than just looks.

But, carrying a big old nasty sword just didn’t look right!  Carrying a staff or polearm was even worse!

Doesn’t it make more sense for a woodsman, a hunter of beasts to carry something smaller?  Maybe a dagger, or hatchet?

That just makes sense to me.

Since I was a loner early on, I didn’t min/max at all.  I carried whatever I wanted to carry, who cares about what elite players think!

I had just gotten into running 5 mans during BC, when I had a /w invite to ShLabbs.  You remember that one don’t you?  If you were a hunter you certainately do.  That is the place where you found the polearm that was the soup-de-jour of BC pre-raid stat-sticks.  I was called in on the last two bosses, the only hunter…heck, the only class that could use it at that time…and it dropped!

Holy Crapton of Elune’s Tears!

Me, the Huntard of Record, the Master of Wipes, the King of the Greens had a Sonic Spear!!!

This is absolutely my favorite melee weapon for many reasons.  It was one of the first times I was actually “asked” to run an instance. I was with people who had gotten to know me in game, and valued me as a player.  It was my very first Instance-Blue item.

Here is one of the few pics (2) that I have of the Spear:

Matches My Hair!

When Wrath hit, dual wielding came back into vogue; at least for a little while.  At least for a little while, the best thing a hunter could carry were two Fangs of Truth.  Again, this met a dual wield need within me that hadn’t been satisfied since Vanilla WoW.

I don’t have a good picture of them. But, at least you can see they are equipped in this shot.  You see, this is when my gun broke and I ended up being the Melee Huntard they talk about late at night to keep the young hunters on the straight and narrow.
So, there you have it. My two favorite weapons were the Sonic Spear and the Fang of Truth.

I will truly miss the Hunter Melee Weapons.

If you’re a Hunter from “back in the day,” then you’ve heard of Big Red Kitty.

He’s the granddaddy of WoW Hunters.  He was Huntering when Huntering wasn’t cool. When people would say, “LoLhunter,” he was rockin’ and sockin’ the dps meeter.

All this to say, when Daddy BRK speaks: Hunters should listen.

Big Red Kitty says a little bit about Mists of Pandaria.

Check it out.

No Big Bad?

I’ve heard a few people talk about us not having a “Big Bad” guy in the next expansion.  Some don’t know how to feel about it. Others don’t like it because it doesn’t give them something to focus on towards End Game.

I’m not so sure about the “No Big Bad” idea.

You can find this paragraph on the Meet the Pandaren website.

During the bleak days that preceded the sundering of the world, when demons flooded onto Azeroth and threw the entirety of the mortal realm into jeopardy, the last Emperor of the pandaren discovered a way to protect his land from the devastation. His deal with fate shrouded his land within an impenetrable mist for ten thousand years, but the nature of his transaction has left Pandaria haunted ever since…

See that?

The Emporer made some sort of “deal with fate.”  I think that is where the “Big Bad” will be found.

Is this guy melancholy, or what?!

Of course, this is just conjecture. I’ve no idea. However, as I read it I can only assume that we get to kill the “Big Bad” thing that is behind leaving “Pandaria haunted ever since…”

To be honest, I’m not one of those players that needs the “Big Bad.”  I’m the casual that enjoys exploring, running alts, and RPing. Give me a new zone, and I’m in heaven.  I then enjoy doing dailies, because it gives an illusion of being helpful.  So, I continue to look forward to the Mists of Pandaria Expansion.

So, what do you think?
