Baby Ape, Huzzah!

I had two Death Knights camped out on a couple of servers in Jaguero Isle.

I’ve been hunting the elusive Baby Ape!  Turns out, they only come out and play during the rain.

I logged in onto Dexington around 6:00pm CST, and it was raining!

I saw multiple green paws, and I immediately moused over the closest one.

BABY APE!

I was able to tame two before the rain ended, and the others disappeared.  I ended up with a Poor and Common quality pet.

Turnip is for Tame!

Even got an Acheezement out of it!

Zwingli goes /SQUEEEEEE

I’m a true fan.

I especially enjoy meeting other WoW bloggers online.

When JD asked for some help with regular Dragon Soul, I jumped at the chance to help him out.

I got online, was invited to the raid, and made my way over to the Caverns of Time.

Got there, and ended up waiting next to a Mage named Kinevra.

Man, that named looked familiar.

Then, as the group began to assemble, some more names started looking familiar…

There was a Draynee, Tyledres, and Kaylon…just to name a few more.

Of course I knew some people, like Zeptepi (Matty) and Tumunzahar (JD).  So, I went ahead and asked JD if there were other Bloggers in the group.

He mentioned the MULTIPLE BLOGGERS who were a part of the group!!!!

OMGOSH! I began to /fanboi all over the place!

Other than Matty and JD, can you guess who these bloggers are?!

And to think, someone actually said I needed help with my Mog!

The Word is Out!

The word is out concerning our little NaviNote ploy.

This is what happened:

Matty and I were chatting via battletags, and the conversation turned towards Navimie.

To be honest, I’m not exactly sure why; but I have an idea.  You see, she is the one that introduced us.  I never would have met Matt if not for Navi.  It was also Navi’s 3rd year anniversary for her blog. I was also complaining that I missed out on the Christmas events that had happened.

Conversation turned towards, “what if.”  What if we could do something nice for someone…what would it be?  Who might that someone be?

Almost immediately, we both knew: Navimie!

Matty brought up the idea of everyone writing notes.  I thought about having them scanned in as a picture or pdf, and putting them into a montage or collage.

I’m Not Artistic!

I’m ashamed to say that I was telling people to send me a GIF.

I think it was Fannon who said, “The 1990s called, and wanted their image file back.”

FYI – JPG(s) are the new hotness! Or maybe it was the Bit…or PNG…or… /meltdown!

Remind me to never do that again!  There are well over 60 blogs listed there.  Oh, and not everyone has a way to contact them listed on their blog.  I can only wince at the amount of investigative work Navimie has to do to get a Navispam done.  I spent 5 hours that first night just trying to find email addresses, twitter feeds, or some kind of hint on how to contact them.

For those that have contact forms on their blogs…  I could kiss you!

I do have one regret. If I was to do it over, I would put the “due date” for the notes farther out.  I knew that some of the emails would probably go into spam folders.  I knew that there would probably be someone coming in at the end, wanting to be a part…but it would be to late.

If anything, I would have divided up the blog list between 2-3 people. Give the contact team at least a week to make contact with potential participants.

From my heart: For those of those unable to take part, I’m truly sorry.  No one was missed intentionally.

So, I finally got in as many notes as I was going to get in.  I made the collage (yes, there is an app for that!), and could barely wait for Monday to hit!  (Seriously, I had the easy job at the end. Some of those notes are just awesome! It really was a group effort.)

I got online first thing that morning, knowing that 8:00am for me is like 1:00am for her.

I was able to catch her!

Of course, if you read (or have read) her post…you know the rest.

Navi, I’m going to do something I very rarely do.  I’m going to speak for myself AND someone else.  I firmly believe that Matty and I agree that you are a very special someone.  You are worth it.  Not because of what you do, but because of who you are.  You do those things we appreciate so much BECAUSE of who you are.

Belfs Don’t Fly…

I’m puttering around on my Horde Toon, Belf Zwingli.  I’m coming up into Thunder Bluff, via the lift.

What do I see, but a lvl 76 Tauren Druid in Stag Form!

What a thing of power!  What a thing of beauty!  What a majestic specimen of Tauren druidic awesomeness!

So, when he spontaneously sends a group invite to me, what can I do?

When the Bromance calls, you answer.

So, we group up; and he asks if I want an achievement.

…….

So, at this point I”m thinking; “This guy wants to jump off the rise carrying someone.  I’m gonna die!”

What I say is, “I’m gonna die, aren’t I? Which one?

Sure enough, he links the [Going Down] achievement.

So, I get on the stag…

He takes a flying leap…

And…

I swear, I’m a Prophet!

Updating “Stuff”

Hello you beautiful people!

Here is an update on the happenings of “The Stuff.”

Stuff #1

Phase one of “Current Project” is almost complete.  I’m giving one more day of extended time for the “Stuff” that needs to happen, to happen.  Then, I’m taking care of my part of the “Stuff” that needs to happen for the final /SQUEEEEEEE to commence.

For those that have ears, let them hear.

Stuff #2

The Eldest Nelfling is getting over the flu.  We are praying that it doesn’t spread to the Youngest Nelfling (nor myself or Mrs. Z).

Stuff #3

The Work Out regimen has been going well.  I need to be at 195 lbs by February 1.  I should make that with in plenty of time left to spare.

However, Nutrition is another issue.

Don’t get me wrong, I know what I’m doing.  “Knowing” is not the problem.  The problem is that: “Knowing” doesn’t always result in the action required.  In my case, I’m a weakling for sugar (chocolate!) and carbohydrates of any kind.  I’m overdoing it on the carbs, particularly.  I need to plan out my meals better, AND get off my duff and purchase the needed Food Stuff.  If I don’t have the needed Food Stuff, I eat accidentally…meaning: I eat whatever is staring at me from the fridge.

No, Z gets to take some initiative now.
